Wake up time varies but usually most campers are up around 6:30 / 7:00, and are ready to start their day. (We have been working on a way to get them to sleep in on weekends but to date nothing seems to work) Breakfast is served around 8:00 and everyone is quick to eat. Most dogs are on our DYNAMITE* program but special diets are also available.
After breakfast, depending on the weather, the campers go back outside in the fresh air where they can socialize, play Frisbee, dig holes in our sand box, retrieve balls, go swimming, or just curl up under a big tree and take a nap. For the smaller dogs we also have a 1/2 acre fenced yard where they can relax on the deck in the sun, enjoy their own kiddy pool, play ball with others their own size or just hang out with us. As the day progresses the pace slows a little, but there are still butterflies to chase and smells to investigate. Dinner is served around 5:00 and once again everyone is hungry. After dinner, it's back outside again for more fun activities.
When the sun goes down or if the weather does not cooperate the party starts inside the house. The bones and toys come out and everyone picks their own special spot to relax.
Bedtime is usually around 9:00. Most dogs sleep in their own large wire crates with hugh dog pillows but other arrangements are available. By the end of the day they are exhausted and are more than happy to go to bed!! Tired dogs are great dogs.
